DS Virgin Racing asked us to create a dramatic promo film for the run up to the FIA Formula E London Race. The aim: to generate excitement, promote the drivers #fanboost chances and showcase the new UK themed bodywork to the world. In collaboration with our friends at Pitch Marketing Group we had exclusive access to the car and driver Sam Bird for one night only in Electric Avenue, Brixton. Capturing key shots in this dramatic and historic street, we ignited the film in post production with lightning bolts and electric charges using photogrammetry and camera projection techniques. The finished product received 100,000+ views in the first week and proved a real boost for the Virgin Drivers in the lead up to the race. It was a real pleasure to be involved in such an innovative and exciting sport.
